Atlas Networks is need of a Small Business Salesperson. This person is responsible for sales to SMB customers of both Internet & telephone services. This role will be proactively identifying new sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, and winning deals. The right candidate will be that person who “goes the extra mile” to not only satisfy the job to be done but stands out of the crowd as a leader among the Internet/TV/and telephone service providers.
This position requires results-oriented interaction with a wide variety of people. It is action-oriented, forward-looking, broad in scope, and requires a pro-active drive to get things done through involvement with others. The position requires a strong sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive to get things done by influencing others, delegating, developing contacts and building relationships. - Minimum Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- At least one year experience selling in a technology environment, preferably cellular or telecom.
- Ability to identify, prospect, and close decision makers in small to mid-sized businesses.
- Experience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, and opportunity development.
- Comfortable with ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Working knowledge of general marketing principles and the ability to execute them.
- Skills necessary for decision making and maintaining customer retention.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors, setting appointments, performing needs assessment, proposal, presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service.
Negotiate to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers in order to achieve revenue growth and retention.
Manage installations post sales with various teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful turn-up and customer satisfaction.
Respond to requests from customers for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc.
Supports others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction.
Develop and foster relationships within business community and core groups.
Project a professional business manner and operates with a high degree of integrity.
Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
