Atlas Networks is a Seattle based telecommunications company founded in 2008. Atlas is committed to providing the Seattle community with the fastest and most reliable Internet service available. We offer speeds up to 10 Gbps while avoiding unnecessary fees and bandwidth caps. Along with Internet, we specialize in Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), VoIP, TV and managed services such as cameras.
Atlas Networks is seeking a SMB Representative. This is a traditional hunter seeker role with some account management responsibilities. This role will be proactively identifying new sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, and presenting solution.
This position requires results-oriented interaction with a wide variety of people. It is action-oriented, forward-looking, broad in scope, and requires a pro-active drive to get things done through involvement with others. The position requires a strong sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive to get things done by influencing others, delegating, developing contacts and building relationships. Having a positive impact on others in order to achieve results is also quite important in this position. The position requires social poise, warmth and friendliness, as well as the ability to stimulate and motivate others in order to achieve the results necessary for success. Frequently there will be a need for flexibility, risk taking, and innovation.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors, setting appointments, performing needs assessment, proposal, presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service.
  • Negotiate to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers in order to achieve revenue growth and retention.
  • Manage installations post sales with various teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful turn-up and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to requests from customers for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc.
  • Supports others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and foster relationships within business community and core groups.
  • Project a professional business manner and operates with a high degree of integrity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years' experience selling in a technology environment, preferably cellular or telecom.
  • Ability to identify, prospect, and close decision makers in small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Familiar with systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, and opportunity development.
  • Comfortable with ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
  • Working knowledge of general marketing principles and the ability to execute them.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.

Atlas Networks is in need of a Telecom Installation Technician who has a positive attitude, ability to problem solve, customer service oriented, has a solid work ethic with an emphasis on quality workmanship and organization. This role is required to work both independently and as part a team. Candidate must be able to lift and carry upwards of 50lbs, climb ladders, and work at various heights while successfully performing job duties. The candidate will be required to work at various job sites, both inside and outside, being exposed to various weather conditions. Candidates must have the ability to pull wire, use common hand tools, terminate Ethernet cabling, and operate power tools. This position is full time with an excellent growth potential.

  • You will be required to participate in an after-hours call rotation schedule that includes evenings/weekends when on call.
  • You should embrace a continuous growth mindset and be eager to contribute your knowledge to our team.
CRITICAL JOB SKILLS:
  • Customer cabling, router, and wireless equipment installations
  • Cabling rough-in and termination
  • Cabling testing and documentation
  • Build-out of MDF and IDF (racks, patch panels, wire managers, network electronics, etc.)
  • Installation and on-site configuration/setup of equipment including radios, routers & switches, security cameras, etc.
  • 06 License Preferred but not required
